FAN STORY: Bea from Malaga
Living more than 600 kilometres from Mestalla, Bea from Malaga's beginnings as a Valencia CF fan were unlikely. Aged 12 years old, she fell in love with the team thanks to a club legend, and she has been a devoted Valencianista ever since.
"When I was 12, I really liked David Villa. Then my passion went from liking the player to supporting the team. That love for Valencia CF has been growing more and more, right up to now," she tells VCF MEDIA.
"Being a Valencianista is one of the most important things in my life. Every weekend we watch the game, we suffer and we celebrate if we win. If the fans are always here, things are going to go much better," explains the fan from Andalusia, who was able to make her first pilgrimage to Mestalla on LaLiga Matchday 3, taking in Valencia CF vs. Deportivo Alavés.
"She expressed her desire to be a Valencia CF fan. We thought that it was a phase, but the years went by and she's become even more of a fan. She's wanted to come to Mestalla for a long time. We told her that, as soon as we could, we would go there," her father revealed.

"We came to Valencia on Thursday, which we had planned. When we got here, my father told me that we were going to watch the game on Friday. I nearly fainted, because coming here, seeing the stadium and watching a game live is a dream that I've had since I was 12 years old."
